186 Moorabool St

The heritage building at 186 Moorabool Street was refurbished in 2020. The facade went from drab to visually interesting.

We got photos of the changes during this process. I couldn’t get as many photos as I’d have liked in 2020 due to Covid restrictions.

The building was put up for auction in May, 2019. It was passed in – and later purchased by Bill Voltaris.

In May, 2020, we noticed that the windows of the building had been covered with paper.

In September, 2020, we saw that the facade had been removed to reveal signage advertising Castrol Oil. This was formerly the site of Tom Moloney’s bike shop

Upstate Studio formally opened their boxing studio here in January, 2021. We got photos in March. The front window was a significant improvement.
