I recently went for a walk along the Geelong Waterfront and noticed significant damage to a number of the bollards. Two of the ones that were next to the Ferris wheel have been removed. The three at Western Beach had significant damage – and signs saying that they were being replaced.
There were also a couple near Rippleside with minor damage and graffiti.
The council is aware of the issue and will be replacing them.
