Geelong Safe Harbour
This project involves the redevelopment of the yacht club, marina and surrounding areas.
Covid-19 delayed a lot of the work. Currently, only the on-water elements have been completed.
Western Beach Boatyard
The former boat yard at Western Beach has now been turned into a park. It was reopened in 2019. We got photos of the area while it was being redeveloped.
Port Phillip Ferry
In late 2019, Port Phillip Ferry launched a service between Central Geelong and Melbourne.
We got photos of the ferry on one of its first visits to the waterfront. You can also see photos I’ve taken from the ferry.
The front of the carousel has been home to different types of 3D artworks. The artwork is regularly updated.

North is a 7 part sculpture by Mark Stoner. It was installed in 2000.
The location makes it great for photography; you can get both the carousel and the floating Christmas tree in the background. You can also get photos looking towards Moorabool Street.
Geelong Revival is a motoring festival that takes place each November. It features car displays, a city cruise, sprints and vintage items on display.
Floating Christmas Three Launch
The floating Christmas tree was launched in 2014 and has since become a key attraction over the Christmas period. In November, there is a special event celebrating the official launch of the tree for the season.
Festival Of Sails
Festival Of Sails is an annual festival and sailing regetta. There are a lot of on-shore activities such as ive music, market stalls, roving entertainers and food trucks,
