Western Beach Boat Yard

· May 3, 2021 ·

15-20191013_131635

The former Western Beach boat yard Officially opened as a park in September, 2019. The area had been fenced off since 2005 when the last boat building yard closed.

The new reserve includes boat building infrastructure, original boats and interpretive signage.

I got photos of work being undertaken on the area in June, 2019. Photos were both from a distance and close up.
