Renew Geelong is a new initiative by Renew Australia to activate vacant spaces in Central Geelong through incubating short-term uses by creative enterprises and independent local initiatives on a rent-free basis via a 30-day rolling license.
This week, they launched their concept space at 105-107 Moorabool Street. I walk past the area quite frequently so have watched the space develop from a bare room to an inviting display area in less than a month. Right now, the area hosts displays by Geelong Illustrators and repurposed vintage furniture by BOE. It was pretty impressive and I’m existed to see the project expand.
