Socially Distanced Circles At Customs Park Picnic Patch

In early November, the City of Greater Geelong created ‘picnic circles’ at Customs Park. This was to help to community maintain social distancing.

It was a solid idea, but I only ever saw a couple of groups using this space. More people seemed to gravitate towards Eastern Beach, which allowed for easier social distancing.

Kudos to the council for doing the right thing to keep the community safe.
