This looks so different to the field I used to walk through when going to my grandparents. I last photographed the area in late 2018 when construction first started.
During construction, it was named the Purnell Road Child And Family Centre. It was renamed to The Korayn Birralee Family Centre because Korayn Birralee means ‘Corio children’.
Car Park
What is interesting is that the back half of this car park is where my kindergarten used to be! I saw it getting partially knocked down over the summer and had planned to get photos. It was completely demolished before I could get there. It seemed like this car park was created within weeks.
