I went into town yesterday to get some photos of the set up for the 2021 Ironman 70.3 at the Geelong Waterfront. Normally it is held in February, but it was postponed due to the statewide lockdown.
Previously, the organizers asked spectators to keep their distance to ensure a Covid-safe event. I’ve chosen not to try to photograph it, which is a shame. I have a health condition which causes me to overheat and the weather is a lot cooler in March.
