I visited High Street in Belmont recently to see how the businesses were handling the Coronavirus pandemic. Sadly, I saw that Panache Cafe & Creperie at 148 High Street had permanently closed. There were newspapers covering the windows and a notice stating that they would not be reopening.
It was listed for sale earlier this year. I don’t know if the pandemic impacted on that sale. I suspect this will become a more frequent sight in the coming months.
