The doors were closed at the Workers Club in Little Malop Street for most of 2020. In September, I noticed a ‘For Lease’ sign at the front of the window. In November, signage for the Piano Bar was visible in the main windows and you could see evidence of renovations going on inside the venue.
The Workers Club didn’t announce its permanent closure until February, 2021. The Piano Bar officially opened that same month.
