Visiting The Mama Exhibition At Courthouse Youth Arts

Mum and I checked out multiple exhibitions in the CBD recently, but I was most excited to see this exhibition by Laura Alice.

Laura described it on Instagram:

A collection of dreams, lucid dreams and visions found during my difficult initiation into Motherhood.
A walk from trauma into healing and back again.
A fable of feathered truths
And of the fertile fungi that grow and glow from the darkest, dankest places of the human experience.
A tale of the brightest beings that appear and seem to guide your ruined feet. An encounter with the Divine Feminine in all her forms. My most vulnerable offering yet, and I hope it illuminates a part of your own inner world too. Bless

Later, she said:

It explores my experiences in my inner world, dream world and spirit journey, and it is an attempt to capture my experiences of the Feminine aspect of God/the divine.

Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the detail in the artworks. We also enjoyed random pieces around the Courthouse.
